Our Story
We’re Debbie and Melissa and we have a passion for serving public educational agencies. Both of us have worked for large law firms that provide legal services for public schools; but we had a vision for more personalized and accessible legal solutions for school districts.
So, in 2014, we joined forces and started Hatch & Cesario, Attorneys-at-Law. Our idea was simple: provide public educational agencies with legal services OUR way - in a more personal, proactive, and efficient manner that meets the needs of our clients and not the needs of a large firm. We turned our idea into reality!
Today, we continue to serve public educational agencies proactively, personally, and efficiently.
We represent and assist public educational agencies with issues involving special education, Section 504, and general student matters. We also teach our clients through our day-to-day legal advice, staff development, inservices, and presentations.
We have two offices – Melissa’s is located in Ventura, and Debbie practices virtually in San Diego.
All of us at Hatch & Cesario will never stop in our quest for excellence in everything that we do for our public school clients. As we move forward, we continue to look for ways to save costs for our clients, to provide legal advice that’s practical and instructive, to problem solve, and to support our clients in serving the needs of public school students.
